Network Cleaner stores everything locally in your browser: your imported connections, tags, removal history, and your conversations. We never upload any of it to a server.
This means uninstalling the extension, switching computers, or reinstalling your browser will delete your local data permanently. We have no way to restore it. We genuinely don't have it.
Uninstalling Network Cleaner does not affect your LinkedIn network in any way. The only things lost are what Network Cleaner stored locally: your tags, removal history, and conversations.
We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how you use the app. We collect usage data like button clicks and feature usage, how many connections you imported and removed, and your settings. When something fails, we get the error and what LinkedIn answered, so we can fix it. We never capture your LinkedIn connections, messages, or conversations.
Network Cleaner has no signup, no password, and we never ask for your email. We recognize you by your LinkedIn account ID, along with the basics of your own profile (your name, headline, public profile ID, and whether you have Premium), so we know who we're talking to when you write to us.
No cookies, no session recordings, no surveys. All analytics data stays in the EU. GDPR compliant. The founder occasionally reaches out on LinkedIn to hear how things are going. No pressure, building the best product we can.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your email and a unique account identifier to verify your purchase or active subscription. We do not see or store your credit card information.
